چکیده

We define a transfer map in the setting of bounded cohomology with certain metric G-module coefficients. As an application, we extend a theorem on the comparison map from Borelbounded to Borel cohomology (cf. [1]), to cover the case of Lie groups with finitely many connected components.

Remarks on and around Bounded Differential Forms

Various exotic cohomology groups can be defined by imposing boundedness conditions on cochains. This note discusses what happens if we impose boundedness conditions in the standard deRham complex of differential forms on a Riemannian manifold and surveys relations of the resulting bounded deRham cohomology to bounded cohomology and l∞-cohomology.

Vanishing up to the Rank in Bounded Cohomology

We establish the vanishing for non-trivial unitary representations of the bounded cohomology of SLd up to degree d− 1. It holds more generally for uniformly bounded representations on superreflexive spaces. The same results are obtained for lattices. We also prove that the real bounded cohomology of any lattice is invariant in the same range.

ON THE VANISHING OF DERIVED LOCAL HOMOLOGY MODULES

Let $R$ be a commutative Noetherian ring, $fa$ anideal of $R$ and $mathcal{D}(R)$ denote the derived category of$R$-modules. For any homologically bounded complex $X$, we conjecture that$sup {bf L}Lambda^{fa}(X)leq$ mag$_RX$. We prove thisin several cases. This generalize the main result of Hatamkhani and Divaani-Aazar cite{HD} for complexes.

Excision in Entire Cyclic Cohomology

An extension of bornological algebras with a bounded linear section gives rise to a six term exact sequence of the associated periodic and entire cyclic cohomology groups. 1. Introduction A convex vector bornology on a vector space is a collection of subsets satisfying some conditions 8]. A typical example is the collection of bounded subsets of a locally convex vector space. A bornological alg...

Continuous Bounded Cohomology of Topological Semigroups

We define a cohomology theory for topological semigroups, with seminormed cohomology groups. Our theory can be considered as a topological version of bounded cohomology of discrete semigroups. 1. Definition of the cohomology Bounded cohomology was first defined for discrete groups by F. Trauber and then for topological spaces by M. Gromov [6]. In this paper we establish a topological bounded co...
